Working at Quo Vide
We build custom software for organisations that an off-the-shelf package can't serve. We believe technology should bend to people, not the other way round, so we don't just build what's asked for. We work out what's actually needed first.
We're a small team of designers and developers. Short lines, no layers of management, and a lot of responsibility in your own hands.
The role
As Client Partner you're the face of Quo Vide. You go out and find new clients, earn their trust, and stay their point of contact once the work starts. You sit across the table from the client and alongside our designers and developers, making sure neither side is ever guessing.
So you'll need to listen well, and be sharp enough to keep digging when a request is still too vague to act on. You'll also need to enjoy picking up the phone and starting a conversation with someone who's never heard of us.
What you'll do
- Win new business: seek out organisations that would benefit from what we make, get in touch, and lead the first conversations.
- Write proposals and quotes that show exactly what we can do for a client.
- Grow the relationships we already have: you're the point of contact for a handful of our clients, and you spot where we could be doing more.
- Shape how we show up: our website and case studies, networking events, and the way we tell our story.
- Get to the bottom of what clients want: run intake conversations, ask the right questions, and tell a want, a problem and a solution apart.
- Write briefs and tickets the team can pick up and run with, clear, complete, and impossible to misread.
- Present concepts, work in progress and finished work to clients, from the project team up to the board.
- Keep scope, expectations and timelines in check, and speak up early when they start pulling apart.
- Put technical decisions into plain language for the client, and client context into something the team can use.
- Help us find better ways to run our client work.
Who we're looking for
- Two to five years in a role built around client contact. Tech-sector experience is a plus.
- You enjoy approaching people who don't know us yet, and a no doesn't put you off.
- You're an excellent communicator in Dutch and English.
- You're a strong presenter, you can hold a room, even when the material is complex.
- You're organised and good at planning.
- You write clearly and concisely. Your briefs raise no questions, and your proposals need no explaining.
- Some grounding in marketing is a plus: you can think with us about how we get our story out.
- You're willing to push back on a client when it makes the work better.
- You work independently and pick things up before anyone asks.
What we offer
- A full-time contract of 40 hours a week.
- A salary of €2,800 to €3,400 gross per month full-time, depending on experience.
- 25 days' holiday full-time, plus 8% holiday allowance.
- A commuting allowance.
- A €500 yearly budget for courses, books or conferences.
- A pension contribution of 2% on top of your salary, yours to invest as you see fit.
- A company laptop.
- Room to build your own network, we cover the events, you go.
- This is an in-office role. As Client Partner you answer the phone and you're part of the team day to day, so working from home is limited.
- A one-year contract with a view to a permanent one.
- A small team where you have a real say in how we work, including your own role.
