Our own pages set no cookies for tracking or advertising, which is why we do not ask for consent with a cookie banner.

We do measure how the site is used, anonymously and without cookies, with Matomo on our own server. The Google Calendar appointment scheduler only loads when you choose to load it. You can read more about both below.

What does the site remember in your browser?

One thing: whether you have already seen the loading screen. Your browser keeps that in session storage (sessionStorage), not in a cookie. It disappears when you close the tab and is never sent to us.

Statistics with Matomo

We use Matomo, an open-source analytics program, to see which pages are viewed and how visitors find us. That helps us improve the site. Matomo runs on our own server: the data stays with us. This is how we have set it up:

  • Matomo uses no cookies and stores nothing on your device.
  • Your IP address is anonymised before it is stored.
  • We measure which pages you view and when, the page you came from, the type of device, browser and operating system, your language preference and the country you visit from, derived from your anonymised IP address.
  • We do not link the measurements to a person or to any other data.
  • If your browser sends the Do Not Track signal, we do not measure you.
  • The measurements are kept on our own server, in the European Union.
  • We do not share them with advertisers or with any other party for their own purposes.
  • We keep them no longer than these statistics need.

External content: the appointment scheduler

You can book a meeting with us through the Google Calendar appointment scheduler. We only load it when you click ‘Load widget’. Only then does your browser fetch the scheduler from Google, and can Google set its own cookies and process data. We have no influence over that; please read Google's privacy policy for details.

If you do not click, nothing is loaded from Google. You can also arrange a meeting by email or phone.
